Kanye West has visited Donald Trump at Trump Tower in New York.
The rapper and his entourage met the President-elect at the billionaire's residence.
Speaking after the meeting, the two men posed for photos - but said very little to gathered reporters.
Mr Trump said: "Just friends, just friends. He's a good man, doing well. We've been friends for a long time".
Responding to a specific question about what they discussed, Mr Trump simply responded: "Life".
Kanye West, meanwhile, said he 'just wanted to take a picture' while posing in the lobby with Mr Trump.
Earlier, the President-elect announced he has officially nominated Rex Tillerson - the chief executive of Exxon Mobil - to be his secretary of state.
West, meanwhile, has recently been released from hospital. It has been reported he was treated for exhaustion.
His hospitalisation became after a series of onstage incidents. At one concert, he was booed by fans after saying he 'would have voted for Trump' - if he had voted.
