'Murder She Wrote' star Angela Lansbury has been honoured at the Dublin International Film Festival.
Known to many as Jessica Fletcher, she received the Volta lifetime achievement award at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre.
She was presented with the award by An Taoiseach Enda Kenny, who was booed by some audience members when he went on stage.

Congratulations to Ms Lansbury have been led by the President, Michael D Higgins.
"On behalf of the Irish people it gives me great pleasure to congratulate Angela Lansbury on this most richly deserved Lifetime Achievement Award", he said.
"The range of her great and diverse talent has found its expression in all forms of the theatre and screen. Recognised by critics and by her peers as one of the great actresses of our age with an Olivier Award, Tony Awards and an Honorary Oscar, Angela Lansbury truly enjoys the status of icon".
"The great longevity of her career has meant that new generations have continued to be enriched by the great breadth of her artistic gift", he added.

Ms Lansbury, who has a home in Cork, took part in a questions and answers session - which included some questions from members of the audience.
The annual Volta Awards are named after Ireland's first dedicated cinema, the Volta Picture Theatre on Mary Street in Dublin.
Previous recipients of the Volta include Julie Andrews, Al Pacino, Daniel Day-Lewis, Kristin Scott-Thomas, Martin Sheen, Paolo Sorrentino and Thierry Frémaux.
The 2016 Audi Dublin International Film Festival is running from the 18th to 28th of February.
