Domino's Pizza Group has reported strong third quarter results, like-for-like sales increased by 14.1% in the 13 weeks to the end of September, this performance has been backed by improved mobile sales.
The company said that it is "very encouraged" by the third quarter performance in Ireland. Increased online orders and improved economic conditions have led to more sales.
Total group sales grew to £214.5m for the three months to September 27th.
Its share price jumped by 17% after the results were published - hitting a record high.
The company's digital revenues are up by more than a third when compared with the same period last year.
Three quarters of all of the company's orders are now placed online - with over half of these orders coming through its app.
Domino's app has been downloaded more than 10 million times, making those impulse orders easier to place than ever.
The company took digital convenience to the next step earlier in this year, as users in some areas could sync their Domino's account with their twitter profiles, allowing them to order a pizza by tweeting a pizza emoticon.
