Gardaí have uncovered a cannabis grow house in Galway, following a search in Wicklow.
Cannabis herb with a street value of €2,000 was found when officers stopped and searched a car at the Sally Gap in Wicklow on Monday night.
One man aged in his 40s was arrested and is currently detained at Wicklow garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

In follow up searches at Farnaght, Corr Na Mona, in Galway a highly sophisticated grow house was found at a premises.
Gardaí from the Divisional Drugs Unit discovered cannabis plants at a mature stage of growth.

The plants have an estimated street value of €450,000 - while dry cannabis was also uncovered.
The house was sealed off for a forensic technical examination, which is taking place.
It is the second grow house discovered in the past 24 hours.
