IAG is expected to fully take over Aer Lingus next month after the Government today confirmed they'll formally accept the group's offer.
The deal is expected to be worth around €1.4bn.
Aer Lingus shareholders, the Irish government and the European Commission have now all given approval to the proposed takeover.

Transport Minister Paschal Donohoe said he's excited about IAG's plans for ambitious growth of the airline.
