An internal Garda report into the falsified breath tests finds that the failure to provide the public with accurate breath test data reports poorly on the professionalism of Gardaí.

Assistant Garda Commissioner Michael O'Sullivan found that almost 1.5 million breath tests were faked.

This number was previously thought to be one million, and represents a 71% disparity between actual breath tests, and those recorded on the Garda pulse system.
