Due to his ITV commitments, Gary Neville didn't take a break from our screens during the 2018 World Cup.

But he's now back regularly on our TVs as Sky Sports' Premier League coverage and Monday Night Football returns.

Ahead of that though, the Manchester United legend was in Dublin for the Cadbury Premier League launch with the league trophy he lifted so many times in the Alex Ferguson in tow.

He also took time to chat in depth to me on Team 33 on a range of topics from Denis Irwin to punditry and the new season.

Neville started off by paying tribute to former Manchester United team-mate Liam Miller who passed away at the age of 36 following an illness.

Neville will be among Miller's former Man United team-mates who will take part in a tribute match at Cork's Pairc Ui Chaoimh next month.

Denis Irwin will also play and Neville spoke about how outstanding a full back the former Ireland international was in his heyday.

He also talked about his road into punditry and media which began as a young player at Man United...

And as the new season begins, we also got Neville's thoughts on Jose Mourinho and Man United...

And there was even a bit of time to inadvertently break the fourth wall thanks to the man behind the camera, Niall McGrath which Neville described as a "bloody unique experience"...

Recent interviews on Team 33 include former Man United cult hero Andrei Kanchelskis, ex-England international Carlton Palmer, former Newcastle and Everton left back Alessandro Pistone, Chelsea legends Bobby Tambling and Paddy Mulligan, Dutch legend Johan Neeskens, ex-England striker Darius Vassell, Liverpool legend David Fairclough, former Ireland midfielder Mark Kinsella, USA captain Eric Lichaj and former Everton forward Tomasz Radzinski.
