Southampton have been one the truly magical sides of the Premier League season. Their two-goal lead against Chelsea a few weeks ago vanished, managing to conjure zero points by conceding three in the final fifteen. Their last minute concession against Everton at the weekend was like shearing one's self in half, so it was only the hardest-hearted Portsmouth fan that didn't feel some sympathy for their rabbit-pulling at the Liberty Stadium last night.
