Resident racing expert John Duggan has given OTB AM his tips for today's racing at Punchestown. And he's somewhat pulling his punches(town) today, by hedging on a couple of horses that he sees as particularly well-placed.

"If you're looking at today, you are looking at the two Grade One races. Willie Mullins has Footpad, who is absolutely bomb-proof - I can't see him being beaten in that Ryanair Novice Chase. He's odds-on.

"In the Stayer's Hurdle, he's got the first two in the betting, and Bacardys who won a Grade 1 at the track last year. So we are in a situation where Gordon will have to run Samcro in the Champion Hurdle tomorrow, and you have to hope that Far Class wins that Juvenile Hurdle."

John is most excited about the Ryanair Novice Chase at 18:40 today.

"Footpad has been great. Of course, Ruby Walsh won't be riding him because he's injured. Daryl Jacob, who rides so well for those owners - Simon Munir and Isaac Souede - he had three winners at Aintree for them. Daryl Jacob and Footpad has done nothing wrong all season."

John's tips:

Ryanair Novice Chase:

Footpad - 2/5

Ladbrokes Champions Stayers Hurdle:

Penhill - 9/4

Bacardys - 3/1
