Last night one million people tuned into Love/Hate, now that the series is over should we ask why has it got so violent?  In the 1990s it was Ballykissangel and Glenroe on a Sunday night now its a gritty crime drama. Is this the type of show you would want to sit down to with the family? Last nights show was pretty gruesome, with many main characters being killed off. Have we become desensitised to violence and does it lead to copy cat crimes since the tabloids glorify it?
