At the concert in Goiania, Brazil, the 70-year old musician had to deal with a small invasion of grasshoppers.

The veteran performer handled the incident with good humour. Between performances of The Long and Winding Road and Maybe I'm Amazed, he introduced to the crowd to his new insect pal 'Harold' who had landed on his sleeve.

McCartney is in the middle of a major tour at the moment, and is due to play one more gig in Brazil tonight before moving to North America and a handful of European dates. The Goiania gig saw him play a three hour long set with selections from his vast back catalogue, including many rarely played Beatles classics.

Luckily, the grasshopper incident was captured on video by several of the 47,000 fans in attendance.
