Three people have been treated for minor injuries after a fight broke out at a Dublin asylum seeker centre.

It happened at the Citywest Transit Hub at around 6:30pm yesterday evening.

Gardaí said they were alerted to a ‘public order incident’ at the hotel following a disturbance involving a group of men.

Three people were taken to hospital for assessment and were treated for minor injuries.

No arrests were made.

Asylum seekers from several different countries are currently staying at the Citywest transit hub – however, it is now operating at full capacity.

The Integration Minister Roderic O’Gorman recently said it will likely have to close to new arrivals in the coming days.
