An Ireland squad of 36 players will reassemble on Monday morning as they continue their search for a first win in this year's Guinness Six Nations.

Andy Farrell's backroom team and players will meet at the IRFU High-Performance Centre at the Sport Ireland Campus as they step up preparation for taking on Franco Smith’s Italian side at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Saturday afternoon.

It was confirmed on Sunday afternoon that there were no significant injury concerns for the players who featured for their provinces in the PRO14 over the weekend and all twelve are fit to return to the national camp.

It's also been confirmed that hooker Julien Marchand and centre Arthur Vincent have returned positive tests, taking the number of cases in the camp to nine.

Their coach Fabien Galthie also tested positive since their win over Ireland at the Aviva Stadium last Sunday.
