Last week the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) met in Sweden. The result was a report on climate change which is truly terrifying and unlike anything which came before it.

The report – the work of 851 scientists from across the world – states that it has 95% certainty that humans are the dominant cause of climate change and warming of the earth. It also puts forward the effects we can expect in the future, and how climate change will alter the earth beyond anything we know.

Professor Luke O’Neill was on the show on Wednesday for our weekly Science slot, and he took a look at the report, breaking it down for Pat and explaining what it means for our future.
