This week's main interview on Team 33 was with Galway WFC u17 head coach Emer Flatley.

Our own Jonathan Higgins headed home to his native county to chat to the former Ireland international. She discussed both her playing career, including in the US, and also her subsequent transition into coaching.

Flatley also speaks in-depth about the aim to promote and grow the women's game effectively in Galway as well as Ireland, having earned experiences abroad.

"I'm glad to be a part of it. And I'm glad after coming home after eight years in the States - and perhaps having a little bit of a negative view - for that to be totally changed. It's amazing," she told Jonathan.

"It's all baby steps. We'd love to get Galway winning the league, going to Champions League and experiencing the experiences that some of us have had before. Maybe an Under-19s team, an Under-17s team, Under-15s. Why not generate and develop as many teams, whether it's in Galway or the rest of the league, as possible? Having more publicity for it, enthusiasm for it and energy for it, it would be fantastic."

You can watch the full Emer Flatley interview above via YouTube. Also on the show this week, Derek Ryan, Enda Coll and Stephen Bradley joined me to discuss something Roy Keane raised during the coverage of Manchester United v Liverpool.
