This week Susan Cahill hits the road and travels to Bantry in West Cork to meet with some of the writers taking part in this year's West Cork Literary Festival. Kevin Barry talks his 2015 Goldsmiths Prize winning novel 'Bettlebone', Carol Drinkwater reminisces on her best selling non fiction 'Olive Farm Series' and her latest book 'The Forgotten Summer' and Andy Miller unpacks 'The Year of Reading Dangerously: How Fifty Great Books Saved My Life'.

This week's music selection comes from This is How we Fly, Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh, and Sophie Hutchings.
