Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh got off to the perfect start in the opening race at the Cheltenham Festival.
Vautour claimed the Supreme Novices' Hurdle, coming in as the 7/2 joint favourite.
14/1 Josses Hill ran in second and third was 11/1 shot Vaniteux.
Walsh is back in action later this afternoon aboard the Mullins trained Hurricane Fly in the Champion Hurdle.
The Fly is bidding for his third triumph in the Grade One race, but will have competition from the likes of My Tent Or Yours, Our Conor and Jezki.
That goes to post at 3.20pm.
Before that, Champagne Fever and Trifolium are among the favourites for the Arkle Chase, which is off at 2.05pm.
