This weekend's All Ireland hurling quarter-finals sees a repeat of the 1996 final between Limerick and Wexford, while Leinster runners up Dublin take on a Tipperary side which has made its way through the qualifiers.

But who will progress to the last-four?

Daithi Regan ad Jamesie O'Connor were on the line to preview both quarter-finals and tip their winners.

Jamesie believes Limerick still have a few more "kicks" left in them following their Munster final defeat and thinks "two weeks is a perfect time to take stock and regroup".

Daithi feels Limerick lack pace in the half-forward, although he likes their physicality. As for Wexford, Jamesie believes they are a "united bunch" and also pinpointed their momentum. He also gave his take on what Leinster and Ireland rugby player Sean O'Brien might be contributing to the team in terms of the "mental side" of the game.

Jamesie explained why he is leaning towards Limerick and Daithi also feels the Munster side will win if they avoid naivety.

In the second quarter-final, Daithi thinks the "jury is still out" on Tipperary, but also cited Dublin's trend of having one good year, followed by a bad year. However he reckons "there is a greater surety about Tipp" in comparison to the Dubs.
