Wexford Youths manager Shane Keegan has confirmed that the League of Ireland soccer club have signed inter-county hurling star Lee Chin.
The Faythe Harriers clubman, who also plays Gaelic football, makes the switch to soccer on a temporary basis as Keegan explained to Off The Ball.
"Lee is a fantastic hurler and a great Gaelic footballer as well. But he's a brilliant soccer player. He's actually played League of Ireland First Division when he was a good bit younger with Waterford United. He's a cracking player," said Keegan of the 23-year-old.

"We've had a little bit of an injury crisis at the moment at the back so we just made a couple of enquiries with Lee to see, given that his hurling commitments were finished up for a short while, if he could possibly come on board and potentially give us a dig out and he's up for it."
Keegan added that he would be a "great addition" but clarified that this is temporary.
"This is not Lee embarking on a League of Ireland career or anything like that. It's a case of Lee being a very proud Wexford man and he was talking about how proud he was to see Wexford Youths competing at the top level and when I said that I thought he might be able to make a contribution to keep us at that level, he said 'yeah, if it's six or seven weeks', he'll jump in there and see what he can do for us."
