Wexford GAA has confirmed that their latest round of COVID-19 testing has seen all their hurling panel return negative results.

Davy Fitzgerald's side will now resume training ahead of this Sunday's planned Allianz Hurling League Division One clash with Kilkenny.

The HSE are expected to give the green light for that fixture to be played later today. It was called off last weekend after three members of the Models' squad tested positive for COVID-19.

There's since been a war of words between Clare and Wexford after two members of the Banners' panel were designated close contacts following the League meeting between the counties earlier this month.

Clare boss Brian Lohan claims that Wexford had given the names of the their players to the HSE but Wexford insist that wasn't the case.
