Former All star nominee Ben Brosnan is preparing to face Longford at Pearse Park this Saturday night in the Leinster senior football quarter final.

It’s been a long wait from league to Championship for the Yellow Bellies who stayed in division 3 with a dramatic victory over Jack Sheedy’s men on the last day of the league season.

As recently as 2011 Wexford nearly beat Dublin in a Leinster final in which Brosnan knocked over 9 points and we asked the Bannow/Ballymitty forward if they are far off that standard now?
