West Ham are appealing against the red card given to midfielder Sofiane Feghouli in their Premier League defeat against Manchester United on January 2nd.
The France born Algeria international was sent off after challenging Phil Jones early in the game, leaving the home side down to 10 men for 75 minutes plus stoppage time.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic criticised the reaction of the United defender, saying he "made a meal" of the tackle.
Bilic remarked: "It was not a red card. Feghouli's foot was not high in the air. It was not deliberate.
"Phil made a meal of it, but you cannot blame him. Maybe he made a meal because he is the one who went dangerously and he is saving himself."
West Ham eventually lost 2-0 at the London Stadium, with the second Man United goal by Zlatan Ibrahimovic also allowed to stand by referee Mike Dean despite the United player being in an offside position.
Juan Mata scored the opener for Jose Mourinho's side.
The result leaves West Ham 13th in the Premier League after 20 games of this season.
Meanwhile, Man United's sixth straight win leaves them sixth in the table and firmly back in the conversation for a Top Four place.
