In the aftermath on Monday's bomb attack at the Manchester Arena, the stories of those who tragically died and those who treated people have come to the fore.

One of those stories belonged to a man named Steve Jones. Mr. Jones, who is homeless spoke to ITV News on Tuesday afternoon about how he tried to help those in need on Monday night.

Having been in the vicinity of the attack, Mr. Jones and a friend were among the first at the scene. He revealed he had to pull nails out of a girl's face after the bomb went off around 10.30pm on Monday evening.

Mr. Jones' story touched many people including that of West Ham United's owner David Sullivan. Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live on Tuesday evening, hours after the video went viral, Sullivan said he wanted to find Mr. Jones to "help him on his way".

After Sullivan made his plea on air, his son Dave revealed that Mr. Jones had been found. The two Sullivans intend to help pay for rent for six months.

A fundraising page had also been set up to help Steve. On Wednesday morning it had already raised over £19,000.
