One of the most passionate parishes in the country for Ladies Gaelic Football is back at the top table.

Donaghmoyne avenged their 2014 Ulster Final defeat to Donegal champions Termon by beating them comprehensively in sunsplashed Killyclogher, Co Tyrone.

Captain Eileen McElroy dedicated their ninth Ulster title to Chairman Martin Daly, who passed away earlier in the year. "His star is shining brighter today".

Former Monaghan county star Amanda Casey revealed that she returned to club action this year after making a promise to Martin, while manager Noel Marron said the whole team had an extra incentive to win.

"They weren’t going to let him down and you could see it out there on the field".

Donaghmoyne kept All Star nominee Geraline McLaughlin to one point from play in defeating reigning All Ireland champions Termon by 0-14 to 0-7. They will now travel to England in the All Ireland series.

Camerawork and video production by Jerome Quinn & Mark Quinn for Ulster Ladies Gaelic.
