It was a memorable weekend in La Liga with a number of contenders for the goal of the season award.

One of the few positives Real Madrid can take from their 3-2 loss to Sevilla last night was the outrageous bicycle scored by defender Sergio Ramos. The World Cup winner hit the shot directly from an Isco corner, and it's doubtful that the Real Madrid captain will score a better goal. 

However, Rafa Benítez's side had real difficulty in dealing with Yehven Konoplyanka, who was a handful for the defence all night and went on a fantastic run to set up one of Sevilla's goals, gldiing in between Madrid's defenders as though they weren't there.

Both Neymar and Iñaki Williams were also on target in their matches with some spectacular efforts that Matt Le Tissier and Dennis Bergkamp would be proud of.
