As Wales move within 90 minutes of a place in the Euro 2016 final, the late Gary Speed has been in many people's thoughts.

The former Wales, Everton, Newcastle and Leeds midfielder was Welsh manager before current incumbent Chris Coleman and is credited with sparking Wales' improvement - a journey which has now culminated in a famous Euro 2016 adventure.

Speed tragically passed away in 2011 at the age of 42.

Roger Speed later told Wales Online about how emotional the fans' tribute made him feel, as well as his pride at what Coleman and Wales have achieved this summer.
