It goes without saying that there have been Kevin Pietersen-related tensions within English cricket for quite some time.

Current England cricket team director Andrew Strauss, who was the subject of critical text messages exchanged between KP and South African players back in 2012, says "trust issues" are the reason why Pietersen will not be recalled to play for England.

Yet, Strauss has offered KP a place on an advisory panel. Tonight on Off The Ball, we'll be speaking to BBC County Cricket broadcaster and writer Lizzy Ammon about the situation.
