Cork City moved to the top of the Premier Division table on Friday night after they defeated league champions Dundalk 1-0 in Oriel Park.

It is the second time Cork City have beaten Dundalk this season after winning the season-opening President's Cup in Turner's Cross last month. Friday night's win was Cork's first league triumph against Dundalk since John Caulfield became Cork's manager.

As was the case in that game, Sean Maguire scored for Cork against his old club to send them top of the table. After four games, there are five teams with nine points including Cork, Dundalk, Shamrock Rovers, St. Patrick's Athletic and Derry City. 

Cork City fan Colin O'Donoghue recorded the winning moment but fans will have to wait until Monday night to see the goal on our television screens.
