Buzzer beaters are among the most exciting moments in sport.

While we usually see those shots left with seconds left in a game, Russell Westbrook's effort was special last night at the end of the first half in Oklahoma's game against Utah.

With 0.7 seconds left on the clock, Westbrook had enough time to rebound the ball off opponent Rodney Hood's back and still score the basket. Those two points may have seemed inconsequential at the time as the Thunder were losing by 13 points at the half time break, but it may have had the opposite effect.

The game went to overtime where Oklahoma City defeated Utah 104-98. Despite scoring only two points in the first half, Westbrook scored another 23 after the half time break to help his side win.
