Former Mayo manager James Horan was today announced as the new member of Newstalk's team for this year's Championship coverage.

This summer will be Horan's first away from the Championship sidelines since 2011. He remained unbeaten in Connacht in his four year spell and reached two All-Ireland finals with Mayo.

He spoke to me earlier today in Croke Park, about how he has found the championship so far, his thoughts on the Connacht Championship and whether he can see many counties surprising the big guns in this years championship.
