In rugby particularly there always seems to be that extra level of respect in comparison to some other disciplines.
However, in tonight's Champions Cup game between Ospreys and Clermont, referee Wayne Barnes was observing a ruck when Clermont's Georgian flanker Viktor Kolelishvili charged from his defensive line to shove the official without an iota of subtlety:

Surprisingly Barnes did not punish the player with the sin bin, simply awarding a penalty to Ospreys.
