A US soccer match last night was marred by an incident which saw one player kick an opponent in the back.
The USL game between the New York Red Bulls' second team and Pittsburgh Riverhounds saw players from both sides shown red cards late in the game.
As Karl Ouimette of Red Bulls and Pittsburgh's Romero Parkes walked off, the latter appeared to take exception to something and launched a dreadful kick to the back of his opponent who had to be stretchered off as a result.
