It was a weekend of shocks in the Premier League but across Europe, it was a weekend of brilliant goals. 

First off, Rafa Benitez's Real Madrid got back on track by thrashing Real Betis 5-0, with Gareth Bale scoring twice. But his team-mate James Rodriguez also did this:

Atletico Madrid also looked strong and flexed their muscles with a 3-0 win at fellow Champions League hopefuls Sevilla. New signing Jackson Martinez introduced himself in style: 

Over in Italy, Juventus' poor start to the season continued with their second loss in two games, falling to a 2-1 defeat to Roma. Miralem Pjanic set the Romans on their way with this inch-perfect free-kick:
