The goal for MMA fighters is to reach the promised land of the UFC.

Alex Nicholson will reach that goal on Saturday night when he faces Misha Cirkunov in a Light-Heavyweight bout in Las Vegas. No matter what happens, it will be a weekend the Florida fighter won't forget in a hurry.

Nicholson proposed to his girlfriend as he prepared to weigh-in for the fight. Thankfully for him, she said yes. It could have gotten awkward if there was a different response, especially with the eyes of the MMA world on Las Vegas this weekend.
