Ireland's men have been narrowly beaten in their semi-final at the European Championships in London.

In their first European semi-final, Craig Fulton's side lost out 1-0 to the world's number two team the Netherlands.

Jeroen Hertzberger scored the only goal for the Dutch on 12 minutes.

Ireland will now contest the bronze medal match on Saturday against one of Germany or England.
