Ireland's Andy Keogh is unlikely to feature in Martin O'Neill's plans for the Euros this summer, but he's still having a season to remember Down Under.

The Perth Glory striker managed to find the back of the net for the eighth game running on Sunday morning in the A-League as his side claimed a 3-2 win over Melbourne City.

In advance of the match and while he was still tied on the record of seven goals in consecutive games, Keogh stated "it’s nice to equal records, but I want to break it now and have it in my own right".

Keogh is the A League's Jamie Vardy, it would seem.

His wasn't the best goal of the game however, as that particular honour falls to Diego Castro, as the Spaniard's stunning volley is worthy of mention and proved important as Melbourne mounted a late comeback.
