Last night Ireland lost 3-0 to the United States in an international friendly in San Jose.
Sue Ronan's side are in the US as preparations continue for their Euro 2017 qualification campaign. The US are in the final stages of preparing for the World Cup which takes place this summer in Canada.
Both teams are in different stages of development and with the Irish playing an experimental side, they look set to go into the half time break, level.
On 42 minutes, Irish defender Ruesha Littlejohn tried to clear the ball from an American corner behind the goals only for the ball to hit team mate Meabh de Burca straight in the face. Irish goalkeeper Niamh Reid-Burke rushed to de Burca to make sure she was ok without realising the ball was still in play.
American striker Abby Wambach slotted the ball into the net to score her 179th goal for her country. Wambach went on to score once more just before half time as Ireland's half time team talk was quickly turned on its head.
Ireland's American tour concludes on Thursday morning at 1am when they play Haiti in Florida.
