The French striker made the choice to move to the Mexican Liga MX, and has been putting in some great performances since. 

While he might not be the first choice for the French squad at the moment, with the suspension of Karim Benzema, André-Pierre Gignac could well feature for the national team at the Euros in the summer. 

In this season's Apertura, the striker has bagged 15 goals, helping his Tigres UANL side to claim the Liga MX title, which was sealed on Sunday in a playoff win on penalties, having overturned a three goal deficit from the first leg.
