Conor McGregor is one of the most recognisable faces in world sport at the moment, and his inclusion in the latest ad for headphone brand Beats by Dre is certainly proof (as if it was needed) of that.

The Irish fighter stars alongside some of the other biggest names in sport, from the NFL and NBA to the Premier League, including Kevin de Bruyne, Cam Newton and Serena Williams. 

The ad features 23 of the biggest stars in the world, set to the theme tune of the White Stripes' song 'Seven Nation Army,' which has become well known in a sporting context in stadiums around the world.

Speaking about the new campaign, New England Patriots quarterback and four-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady said: "It's full of emotion. That beat. That rhythm. It gets everyone off their feet. It's a great feeling when that song comes on."

McGregor is set to step away from the octagon for the next few months as he and his girlfriend are expecting their first child, but given just how popular he has become, the lightweight champion is unlikely to be off our screens for very long.

In fact, he may even be featuring in the next series of Game of Thrones, as he looks to capitalise on his growing global profile.
