The brand new Guinness Pro 14 kicked off at the weekend with all four Irish provinces in action as well as the two new South African additions to the competition.

We'll be looking back at the opening weekend on Off The Ball's Monday Night Rugby but before we do, you can catch up with the highlights from the matches involving Leinster, Munster, Connacht and Ulster.

Dragons 16-39 Leinster

Leinster opened the season in fine style by beating Bernard Jackman's side. Leo Cullen's side scored five tries en route to the bonus point victory.

Munster 34-3 Benetton Treviso

An impressive win for Munster to open the season as their Italian opponents gave up five tries by half time from a total of six.

Ulster 42-19 Cheetahs

Ulster welcomed South African opposition to Kingspan Stadium and came out on top with Tommy Bowe scoring the first of the Ulster tries.

Connacht 12-18 Glasgow

Jack Carty kicked all of Connacht's points but it was ultimately in vain as the visiting Glasgow side's two tries proved crucial.
