The show must go on.
A seven year-old boy was about to perform the Australian national anthem before a baseball game when he developed a case of the hiccups. Hiccups rarely take hold at a convenient time and it would have been understandable if the young singer decided to bow out.
But despite the ill-timed affliction, young Ethan Hall persevered and gave a roaring rendition of Advance Australia Fair in Adelaide. The end of his performance was greeted with a chorus of applause from the fans and some of the players threw him a high-five as he scurried away form the pitch.
Ethan sang the anthem before an Australian Baseball League match between the Brisbane Bandits and the Adelaide Bite in Adelaide.
