Wales flanker Dan Lydiate is officially on the books of Pro12 side Ospreys.

He was released by French team Racing Metro earlier this season, where he had played alongside Leinster-bound Jonny Sexton, and passed up the opportunity to move back to Newport Gwent Dragons.

Lydiate has joined national team captain Sam Warburton in signing a national dual contract between the Welsh Rugby Union and the regional sides.
