Vine have announced that users can now import and edit existing videos from other apps. 

Previously, the six-second video-sharing app was limited to editing clips recorded within the app itself.

The social media organisation explained the change in their blog:

"From the capture screen, you’ll see a new option in the bottom left corner that lets you import a video. You can select one video or mix together several — and yes, slow-motion videos are supported."
