After the crew spent months filming in Dublin and Wicklow - including several shoots in Temple Bar - we're getting our first glimpses at the upcoming show Penny Dreadful. Another teaser for the show has been released, following on from the first trailer released in February.

Unfortunately, those waiting to see how the Irish locations have been brought back in time by the production crew will have to wait a little bit longer. The latest teaser is heavy on special effects and actor close-ups, but short on glimpses of Dublin.

The trailer does, however, give some idea of the gothic horror mood the creators seem to be aiming for. A synopsis released with the trailer explains the series will focus on "Dorian Gray, Victor Frankenstein and timeless figures from Dracula [joining] a core of original characters in a dark and brutal quest to save a soul".

The programme will star Josh Hartnett, Eva Green, Timothy Dalton and Billie Piper. It's scheduled to start showing on Sky Atlantic in May.
