Vietnamese footballer Tran Dinh Dong has incurred a 28-game ban and a fine of 20 million VND (€687) for a "tackle" which has left an opponent facing a year out of the game.

The ban might be hefty but after viewing this footage, you could even argue that it should have been far longer...
