Back in 2011, after a heated Supercopa clash between Barcelona and Real Madrid, ex-Barca midfielder Seydou Keita alleged that Real Madrid defender Pepe had racially abused him.
The two came face-to-face again last night when Keita's new club Roma took on Real in a Texas pre-season friendly.
Clearly the events from three years ago were playing on Keita's mind as he refused to shake hands with Pepe during the pre-match handshake and also threw a water bottle at the Portugal international's head - which just missed its target.
According to the Fox broadcast, the fourth official also said that Pepe, who was sent off for headbutting Germany's Thomas Muller at the World Cup, spat at Keita during the melee.
