Liam Neeson completely rebuilt his career as a movie-star by forgetting about the very particular set of skills he'd honed as a dramatic actor and replacing them with a dodgy American accent and a better aim than James Bond. And so, the 'Taken' franchise was launched, turning the Ballymena brute into the biggest - and potentially oldest - action star in Hollywood. 

Tomorrow sees the release of the third movie in the series, with Neeson's character Brian Mills once again doing whatever it takes to ensure his family's safety - even if that means going on the run. 

The YouTube geniuses behind the 'Honest Trailer' series have taken, no pun intended, a look at the Neeson-starring movies and given the franchise their cutting treatment. To quote them: "America's about to get Taken for the third time! So revisit the first two Takenings, which prove that Liam Neeson should pretty much stay out of Europe."
