Christmas ad season is upon us, and you can expect to hear the Coca Cola truck jingling into your living room any day now, whether you like it or not.
British supermarket Sainsbury's have taken a quite touching approach to their Christmas ad, which remembers the Christmas Day truce of 1914, when some areas of the western front saw a brief respite from fighting.
In the ad, British and German soldiers down arms and cautiously approach each other across no-man's land. Eventually tensions cool enough that soldiers are able to chat and have a kick-around.
And when one German soldier returns to his trench, he finds a chocolate bar that a British fighter slipped into his coat pocket.
A version of that same chocolate bar will be available in shops for £1, with profits going to the Royal British Legion.
It's all very eye-watering stuff.
