Roma have been dropping down the Serie A table in recent weeks. And they won't have been helped by goalkeeper Mauro Goicoechea dropping a cross into his own net during a 4 - 2 to Cagliari last night.

One person will see the funny side: Marten Stekelenburg. The Dutch No 1 has been benched recently in favour of the Uruguayan and was also denied a transfer deadline day move by Roma.

But with Roma in poor form and Goicoechea making a horrendous error, Roma coach Zdenek Zeman may be forced to put Stekelenburg back in goal.
