The wolly jumper has undergone a minor resurgence in recent years. One key reason is the renewed popularity of Christmas jumpers, with dedicated pop-up shops even appearing every winter to sell the purposefully gaudy knitwear. The second reason, at least for a committed subset of TV fans, is Sarah Lund (Sofie Gråbøl) - the heroine of acclaimed Scandinavian TV thriller The Killing, who was constantly on-screen in a seemingly endless variety of truly fantastic jumpers. It's one element of the original that carried over to the American remake, which has somehow managed to survive several cancellations.

Following on in the great tradition of the internet's countless Downfall or 'Hitler reacts to...' spoofs, Save the Children uses footage from the The Killing alongside some 'false' subtitles to create a very funny but affectionate parody of the Danish thriller phenomenon. As well as putting the often extremely serious characters from the show in a fun new context, the video also serves as a promotion for the charity's Christmas Jumpers Day initiative.
